  1. I found out about my transfer after this date. It's not over till it's over!
  2. Hey, I successfully transferred into a competitive field that I initially missed my interview for. PM me to talk if interested. As for prospective transfers, the process was really smooth and there's way too much negative talk and fear mongering here. My PD was supportive, and the PGME offices were pleasant, albeit not transparent. I would recommend emailing prospective programs directly and not replying solely on PGME to find a spot. I found mine via directly talking to the program. I realize that statistically it is still really unlikely to transfer, but, if you're lucky enough to have a spot available that's willing to take you, it wasn't as scary as I had thought.
  3. Why would a PD not be willing to release you? If the receiving PD accepts your transfer into an opening they have I can't see why the current PD would be able to prevent that.
  4. Yikes. Wasn't there a new rule IMGs couldn't compete for unmatched CMG spots this year? That could explain the quiet thread.
  5. Seems like we are under represented on here.

  7. From my limited experience, it sounds like they usually come out early and this thread isn't very active, unfortunately.

  9. The programs have to rank you by March 26th which is 3 business days away
  10. They sent interview offers for march 25th. Sorry, I should have been more clear. Are we supposed to post the interview date or when it was sent out?
