  1. I’m interested! I’m also from Guelph so if anyone is close to the area, we can do in-person prep.
  2. Time Stamp: 10:04 AM EST Invite/reject: Invite !!!! IP/OOP: IP SWOMEN (Y/N): N 2YGPA: 3.90 MCAT (CHEM/CARS/BIO/PSYCH): 128/127/130/127 Essays (X/8): 8/8 - Tried to focus on the core values and choose from a diverse amount of experiences. My ECs are pretty strong (ranked in the 75th-100th percentile for UBC NAQ) and good enough for a Queen's interview two years ago. I personalized the 'About Me' section, but didn't put as much effort into the essays as I should have thinking that it was going to be a long shot that it would decrease to 127. This is my very first time interviewing at Western and I am so stoked! If anyone is in the Guelph or Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge tri-city area and would like to prep, I'm definitely up for it. Congrats to everyone else on getting an interview invite! To those who got regrets, keep pushing and don't give up on your dreams. This is my 5th cycle applying, and second interview ever, so there is always hope!
  3. Yea I found it quite odd. Like Baljinderthecrow, I did not fill in the Northern and Rural Section. This verifier was part of my employment so I thought maybe they did it in sections, but another one of my employers was contacted at the end of September a few months ago. Yea definitely check out your other verifiers so that they verify in a timely manner.
  4. Hi everyone! I got an email from one of my verifiers today saying that UBC emailed them to verify one of my activities. I thought this was weird because a good 10+ of my verifiers were contacted near the end of September (The verifier who got the email today was not among the 10+ verifiers that were contacted at the end of September). Is it common for UBC to do two waves of verifier checks per applicant? Has anyone experienced this before?
  5. Yea they met all cutoffs for the MCAT and their GPA was a high 3.9
  6. My two friends also got a rejection email on Thursday so I can confirm
  7. Hi, I would be interested in meeting up via skype!
