  1. I was talking about polio which takes a little over a year. From the answers I got at Student Health Center and Wellness and Equity they could do the same thing with conditional clearance, just not an as sure thin as Hep B since it hasn't happened a lot :/ Thanks for your responses :) I had reached out to all these with no success, hopefully it'll be possible to get an AC test in London and have that be enough with the rounds I started for now
  2. Hey guys, going out on a limb until I can get someone from Western on the phone about this : Do you know of anyone who hadn't received a clearance at the beginning on the term due to a vaccine series they we're currently doing but wouldn't be completed for another 12 months ? What happens, am I really locked out of all clinical experiences ? Can I even keep up if that's the case ? My parents lost my vaccination book, had I known in advance I would have done this last summer...
  3. I'm abroad and cannot for the life of me access my student centre portal so i'm hoping someone can help ! - I have an offer in the Omsas website, but we're receiving emails tomorrow right ? - Is there any student portal center steps to do like accepting ? Because I won't have access until after the may 28th deadline when I get home
  4. Sure, I assume many will be surprised by my invite. As ECs I've done a lot of research both clinical and not for a finishing 3yr-bachelor student (grants, presentations, articles in review, honors research program in my bachelor), volunteering as counselor and in medical accompaniment, executive positions in clubs for 2years or more (Artistic, Amnesty International) as well as co-founding, organizing events, survival canoe expeditions and other shorter commitments. My ABS touched on all of these and I spent A LOT of time on it. I can't remember if Western looks at references but I also tried to make those diverse (Humanities professor, psychiatric nurse and MD research supervisor).
  5. Invite/reject: Invite Timestamp: 11:17 AM IP/OOP: OOP cGPA: 3.75 MCAT (CHEM/CARS/BIO/PYSCH): 508 (126/129/128/125) ABS Score (If available): Not published I've posted below but here is a bit on my ECs and ABS (this is obviously what got me an interview) : As ECs I've done a lot of research both clinical and not for a finishing 3yr-bachelor student (grants, presentations, articles in review, honors research program in my bachelor), volunteering as counselor and in medical accompaniment, executive positions in clubs for 2years or more (Artistic, Amnesty International) as well as co-founding, organizing events, survival canoe expeditions and other shorter commitments. 10. I haven't researched dates but guess so
  11. This comes as no surprise as it was a long shot (urban and bottom-line GPA). Still posting if ever it helps OOP applicants. Timestamp: 10:29 AM Interview: No GPA: 3.75 Context: born and raised in a major city , OOP/French ECs: Strong research ECs , volunteer work with elderly, Amnesty International implication *quite a bit with indigenous people, strong desire to work in the north. Non-trad?: No # of previous applications: 0
  12. Am having the exact same problem although i'm on excel...
  13. You can write both essays on research experiences. If you're reusing the same experience twice, just make sure to highlight different stuff and it'll be alright too
