  1. There's plenty of year to year variability too. 2019 Ottawa had 3/4 match to ophtho with the unmatched guy doing a fellowship and matching the next year, also had 3 derm and 2 plastics.

  3. Worth it if you get the OD and gun for ophtho. People who do this are extremely competitive applicants, it's almost unfair.

  6. Hmm I see, seems odd that they wouldn't give you an interview if you've shown face and have letters given how traditionally non competitive GP is. Maybe it's just that they wait for LORs to come in after Nov 27 to review them before offering interviews to previous year grads. Hope it works out for you.
  7. I did get an invite to Calgary GP on Nov 22 as well... Only did an AP elective there. Very strange. You're a CMG?
