  1. As far as I know, it’s completely ok to reuse them.
  2. I still haven’t received my ranking as well.
  3. In the past for the English stream the cut off GPA has been 3.85. So if you do end up applying to the English stream just really make sure your GPA is 3.85 or above. I believe the French stream cut off is slightly lower. I think you can email admissions and ask what it was this past year. I’m not sure how and if the number of seats in the French stream changes the competitiveness. Best,
  4. There were 15 Black students admitted to the class of 2T3 in 2019, not 1. 1 Black student was admitted to the class of 2T0 in 2016. Thankfully, in the 2017-2018 cycle BSAP was introduced.
  5. I’m out of province, 4th quartile unfortunately. Not holding my breath aha, oh well
  6. Result: Waitlisted (4th quartile) Time Stamp: 15/05/2020 - 9:33 AM EST GPA: cGPA of 3.95, so 95% I think MCAT: 523 Location: OOP Degree: MSc Interview: Felt good about it actually. Surprised to be in fourth quartile, obviously didn’t go as well as I’d hoped.
  7. Result: Rejected Timestamp: 8:55 am EST wGPA/cGPA: 3.97/3.95 MCAT: 523 ECs: diverse and well-rounded I think Essays: Wrote them a week in advance, had them looked over once, thought they were well done. Interview: 1 very good station, 1 average, 2 slightly below average In-person or Virtual: in-person Year: MSc Geography: IP Second time interviewing, second time rejected. Pretty bummed as UofT has always been my first choice. Is what it is.
  8. Hey Jonah, From what I saw a CGS-M can only be used at the institution you were awarded it at and thus not be transferred. I believe this is because each school has a set number that they give out. That being said, maybe there are some exceptions to this. Best,
  9. Thought it went alright, I found all interviewers to be friendly and patient. Online was definitely a challenge, audio and cut out a couple times aha, all good tho Best,
  10. Step 1 will be pass/fail at earliest Jan 1, 2022
  11. You will get more credit for a research based MSc and a PhD I think This is from their website: Doctoral degree conferred Doctoral degree in progress Research-based Master’s conferred Research-based Master’s in progress Course-based Master’s conferred The higher on the list the more ‘points’ you get. A course based Master’s would receive the least credit.
  12. Yup, it’s for people interviewing this cycle. See link for more information https://www.uoftmedadmissions.com/have-a-coffee-with-us.html
  13. I think confirmation emails will be sent by February 10. I haven’t received it yet.
