  1. Just take what you're interested in. You'll learn the rest when you get in. Health studies gives you an opportunity to obtain well rounded studies. Just make sure to put the effort into the classes that cover the mcat materials.
  2. Their applicant information booklet says that it just needs to be written before October 1st. https://medicine.usask.ca/documents/ugme/admission/Entry2019ApplicantInformation.pdf I've found that those MCAT spots tend to fill up as the date approaches. Probably best to be safe and just sign up.
