  1. Hello! If you got into McGill OT this year, @TheBirdo and I have created a Facebook group for us all to connect! McGill OT QY?U3 Class of 2021! https://www.facebook.com/groups/392679601606015/
  2. No interview. For the video, just answer the questions they want from you. If you have a written statement, I would recommend taking the answers from that, making a script and having that on the screen while recording. I used my crappy Webcam and it worked fine. Make sure you stay under the time! If you want to know specifically how I made mine you can dm me. Also make sure to fill out what courses you did in the past because they'll give you extra points for those. Good luck!
  3. If you don't know French it could be harder but it'll work out. I heard someone tell me there's lots of jobs there too. Yeah that's the forum! You should ask there too.
  4. There's lots to consider, like living accommodation and placements. If your French is strong, finding a placement/job may be easier in Montreal as it's quite saturated in the GTA. I didn't hear the best things about UofT program from the general forum but it's up to whatever would be the best for you. Hope this helps!
  5. I'm sorry to hear that. I was waitlisted and got an acceptance in a few days after the weekend so I don't know what that means. I was given a week to accept so maybe on Monday the list will start moving with people finding out about Ontario schools. Please have faith! I would try contacting them too about how many spots they have left. Maybe they'll say something. I hope this helps and good luck!
  6. Still, I wasn't on the waitlist until last week, if you've been on for so long you should've gotten in by now. I'd try contacting them and seeing if you get an update atleast.
  7. I was on the waitlist last week and got an acceptance this past Monday. You should maybe contact them, I don't know why you've been on it for so long! Hope things work out
  8. Hi I accepted my offer for OT today! Please message me if you're going to OT too I'd love to get know everyone! I also am a beginner in French so glad to hear someone has not been having a hard time in the PT program. I hope to improve my French over the summer.
  9. Hello everyone! I recently got an acceptance from McGill and confirmed it this morning. If you are going to McGill for OT this year please message me, let's get to know each other! I have two years experience at a family physicians office a year experience with an OT who graduated from McGill too. I've worked at a senior home for a few months. I had taken 4/5 background courses McGill wanted to see and had a strong CASPER. This was my second time applying but first time applying to McGill (first time CASPER too). I've seen people here get in with lower GPAs and some be rejected for very high ones. GPA does matter, but it's not everything. keep trying everyone, you'll get in! And congrats to everyone that did get in.
