  1. Thank you so much, this has been extremely helpful, more than I can express! I've been getting a 127-128 CARS in practice with about 2 months out until my test. Is it really possible to get an interview with Mcmaster with a 3.62 cGPA? I think I can get to 129 CARS, but my gpa is so low I've been searching all over the place but it's still unclear - does Mcmaster include every course in their calculations, including summer courses?
  2. Thank you very much for the advice everyone! I really appreciate your summary of the schools I might have a chance with. I was wondering if you might have any advice for CARS? Thank you again!
  3. Thank you for your reply, that's really helpful and offers a fair bit of hope. I don't have some of the prereqs Ottawa asks for, namely the organic chem and biochem courses - do you think they would be worth taking so I can apply?
  4. Thanks for letting me know - I'm in Ontario!
  5. Hi everyone, I was hoping for a bit of insight on my chances for the upcoming cycle! I'm quite new to the forum and not sure if this is the right place to post - forgive me if I've gotten it wrong! I'm in Ontario. my last two years of undergrad calculate out to a 3.88, but my CGPA is a 3.62. I am applying to Canadian schools exclusively this year and I'm planning to choose those which take your last two/two best years.. I know Western and Queens, but would be really grateful for some other suggestions of where I could apply. I'm taking the MCAT in late August. Not sure if it changes things, but my extracurriculars are pretty good - president of an international organization, research at a reputable hospital, 5 years of bedside experience, 3 years of health promotion, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Best of luck to all those applying this year.
