  1. my friend emailed them asking about post-interview scoring (they're not an applicant) and they said they keep the post-interview scoring system confidential to their office nowadays.
  2. pretty sure this aint it, because significantly more offers are given out than seats by each school (because people get multiple offers)
  3. TIME STAMP: 11AM Interview Date (MD or MD/PhD): MD Result: Invite cGPA/wGPA: 3.88/3.99 MCAT: above cutoffs ECs: research w/ conference talk, heritage club, mentoring, volunteering, intramurals, scholarships (~6 major awards) Essays: spent a great deal of time revising, only got 1 person to look them over for grammar/general content and #VibeCheck Year: 4th UG Geography: IP
  4. Time Stamp: 10:12 AM Invite/reject: invite <3 IP/OOP: IP SWOMEN (Y/N): No 2YGPA: 3.985 (3.99) MCAT (CHEM/CARS/BIO/PSYCH): 131/129/130/129 Essays (X/8): 6/8, used 1 activity twice, + a heartfelt "About You" essay. Tried to make them unique and as insightful as possible. SHOUTOUT TO JESUS!!! WOOOOOOO!
  5. well, yeah. i meant it more like all the schools should either consolidate their process into one or each have tailored-but-shorter personal statement systems.
  6. seriously. between Mac, UofT, and Western having their own E/C entries, what's the point of filling out a massive ABS in the first place?
  7. I agree with this. I definitely had enough experiences to fill it out, and this honestly may have been one of my strongest applications this cycle. I was just focused on the other schools and my mcat so i literally didn't have enough time to write 7-8 high quality 3400-character essays for this school. Definitely regret it but oh well, way she goes.
  8. Time Stamp: 9:14 AM Invite/Reject: Waitlist :/ GPA: 3.88 CARS: 129 Casper: definitely made some fairly big mistakes, only prepped the night before. didn't feel horrible but could've done better. Geography: IP kinda happy! first cycle so i'm glad that it wasn't a full-blown R
  9. I filled out 6 of the maximum 8 skill-based essays, and a pretty well thought-out “about you” essay. I had enough on my Abs to write two more but they would have been really low quality (I was like 2 hours before the deadline). Anyone know of someone who’s interviewed with Schulich without the max number of essays written?? (For context, my western wgpa is 3.99 and Mcat’s 519, past each cutoff)
