St. Nicholas University: School of Veterinary Medicine is chartered by the government of Dominica and our graduates are eligible to practice veterinary medicine within that country without restriction.
This further qualifies the school to seek listing with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), which in turn allows our graduates to register with the Educational Committee of Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG). ECFVG certification allows our graduates to be licensed in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and other countries accepting ECFVG certification.
St. Nicholas University School of Veterinary Medicine will be submitting the initial paperwork for accreditation to AVMA Council on Education (COE) in April of 2020. We will provide students from US and Canada a full scholarship to cover the fees associated with the ECFVG certification.
