  1. Result: Waitlisted (English) - good Time Stamp: 7:39am wGPA: 3.95 CASPER: Received interview to McGill (OOP) as well so assuming it went well. Fast typing speed (140wpm+) helped. ECs: Diverse, strong, and long-term. Research-heavy awards. Interview: Second interview and was more thrown off by panel than expected. I distinctly remember - in the beginning of the interview I wanted to stall for time because my throat dried up so much, so I tried to pour myself a glass of water and my left hand was trembling the whole way through. Embarrassing... Geography: IP Removing myself from the waitlist. Good luck to all those who are still waiting!
  2. Result: Waitlisted Timestamp: 9:32 am 2YRS: 3.96 MCAT: 519 (129/130/128/132) ECs: Diverse, strong, long-term. Research-heavy awards. Interview: It was meh. Two MMI stations I felt good, two I felt so-so, and two I ran out of time and didn't feel like I was engaging my interviewers at all. I also had major issues in where to look at because there was no uniformity in who (of the two peeps interviewing me) asked me the follow up question and I was so flustered in deciding the person I was going to make eye contact with. Rip. Panel was fine and uneventful - no grilling, unlike some of my friends' experiences. In-person or Virtual: In-person Year: 4th Geography: IP Removing myself from the waitlist. Good luck to everyone!
  3. Result: Accepted (Hamilton) Timestamp: 8:05am cGPA: 3.97 CARS: 130 CASPer: Should be decent; received uO and McGill (OOP) interview. I have a 140wpm typing speed (thanks to my 10k+ hours of practicing piano) so typing my thoughts down fast enough was never an issue for me. Year: 4th UG Geography: IP Button: No Declining offer. Mac is a great school, but there are a few issues imo to Mac's lottery system that deter me from accepting. Good luck to all those on the waiting list, and I hope I'm able to open up a spot for someone!
  4. Result: Accepted (Campus Unspecified) Timestamp: 8:49am 2-year GPA: 3.97ish MCAT: 519 (129/130/128/132) Interview: In-person. Honestly... I thought I killed my interview. The panel interviewers were pretty cold at the start but warmed up to me substantially. One of the last to leave the interview and they all seemed impressed. I walked out knowing that it would be okay if all my other interviews went to shit because I had western in the bag. Was not surprised when I received the offer. Year: 4th UG Geography: Non-SWOMEN Will be declining offer.
  5. Result: accepted (St George) Timestamp: 9:06am wGPA/cGPA: 3.97 cGPA, did not calculate wGPA MCAT: 519 (129/130/128/132) ECs: Diverse, almost equal entries for the different subsections for ABS. Awards were more research-heavy. Leadership-heavy volunteer and ECs. Essays: Decent. Spent 3 full days on it, kept revising until submission, but happy with them at the end. Interview: No idea. Was in a bad mood for the 4th question and thought I bombed it, and the others were fairly standard so I tried to answer as best as possible given the situation. Received McGill offer that week so low-pressure to the point where I slept past 12am the night before and felt almost too relaxed to have done a good job. Shocked that I still got accepted. In-person or Virtual: Virtual. Year: 4th Geography: IP
  6. Another stats post FWIW 3.97 cGPA, 130 cars, felt good about casper - interviewed (among others) @ Ottawa, McGill (OOP). No button.
