    Interview Question

I'm going to chime in here. Don't do this. At UWO or any other school. Someone else has evaluated your OMSAS paperwork, the interview is a separate evaluation process.
  2. 1 - 4th year elective at the place you want to match to is something that is not an absolute requirement, but it's about as close as you can get without it being an absolute requirement. This is regardless of whether or not you did a clerkship rotation there. 2 - Some people in our class had some pretty negative experiences with rural psychiatry. Some were okay, but there were some that were very strongly negative. That being said, you can do 4 weeks rural and 2 weeks back in London, so that's a possibility. Your call. My personal advice would be to not do rural psych.
  3. Neutral, no effects. Just used for stats.

Not a resident of any province?

I got into out of province schools in 3 other provinces. It's not as hard as you've been told, so don't give up.

    ABS mistake

Mine had a phone number for a verifier as 123-456-7890 because I forgot to go back and change it after I had looked it up. No repercussions at all, didn't even notice it until after I got in.
  8. I'm not going to delete this post because censorship isn't anyone's goal here, but try to be more polite, professional, and respectful when you post. It's not hard, and a little bit goes a long way.

    First year courses

You won't know when your half days are until you show up. You'll find out during O-week. Outside of that, 8:30 to 4:30ish every day. Two half days a week.
  10. Tachycardia! Always a great time.
  11. Or that. That's also a valid metric.
  12. And just to remind everyone, pick the institution whose advantages you're interested in. That way, EVERYBODY WINS!!!
  13. The parts like "Sorry if the truth isn't something you guys are happy with" were the types of things I was referring to, not the factual statements that you made which I have no problem with. Just keep it civil, that's all I'm saying.
  14. Yes. The "My med school is better than your med school" back and forth volleying is unnecessary and adds nothing to this conversation.
