Hi! I'm planning on going into OT. However, every OT I come across has done their schooling abroad. Has anyone done theirs in Canada and is willing to share the process? PT seems to have more descriptive and consistent requirements. What is the GPA cut off, do your EC's matter? And how many schools did you apply to and where was your undergrad done? Hey OT/PT hopefuls, I am anxiously awaiting to hear back about interview invitations from various PT Schools across Canada. I study in a small town so there are not many other prospective PT/OT students around to do mock interviews, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a facebook group (or similar) where we do video chats with Mock MMI/Answer Feedback? I've read about the importance of actually practicing answering questions and think this could be very helpful for students in a similar situation! *given that most if not all in-person interviews are cancelled I did not make a group, but may be a great idea for next year!* -
Hi everyone!! I am currently applying for Dalhousie and they request for an MCAT score. I wrote the MCAT twice and got the same score. The first time I did well in CARS, the second time I did well in the sciences. Does anyone know which one Dalhousie prefers for applications? Thank you in advance!

I have read in several places on premed 101 (and heard from several other students) that multiple family medicine programs allow you to add applications to additional sites (within their program) after interviewing. I am having trouble finding reference to this within the carms program description pages. I am wondering if anyone knows: 1. Which FM programs you can add additional site applications to late? (Particularly interested in UBC, Dalhousie, NOSM, and Memorial.) 2. How to logistically do this---assuming within carms portal exactly as you applied for other programs? 3. If we decide BEFORE the interview (i.e. now) that we would like to add a site application if we can do that? Really appreciate the help! -
Just wondering what the general consensus is on the available general surgery programs in the country, which are considered “the best” and what are the pros and cons of each? -
Hi, I was just wondering how they mark your supplemental form. What would score high in that section? Is there some form of rubric that anyone knows of? Similar thing with the essay. Thanks!
