  1. Hello everyone, Please allow me to introduce myself. I am an Alberta university student of African descent, and I am obviously as seen with my post interested in applying to pharmacy. I am currently completing my third year of studies in Biological Sciences and I am just wondering out of curiosity what the racial demographics of the U of A pharmacy school are? For instance, have the incoming classes been predominantly white, are there black students, are there Asian students, etc.? Also, I am wondering if there is a relatively even split of male-female students? I don't want to be the sole or one of the few minority students during the time I spend at U of A pharmacy school if I do eventually get accepted. Thank you all who answer for your time. Regards, An inquiring soul
  2. So, I know some have gone out and I would start this thread. I received my interview rejection today! Not too worried about it, I am an ontario student.
  3. Email released today (Jan. 16, 2017) for an invitation to the Open House on Feb. 17 and Interviews on Feb. 18 for the UBC DMD Class of 2021! Please feel free to share stats for future applicants and to form practice groups! (: Here's mine: Invite Residence: IP (McGill) GPA: 3.85 (~87%) DAT: 23AA 20PAT Congratulations on those who got interview invites, hope to see you soon! For those who got regrets, never give up! (:
  4. Does anyone have a clue about when abouts the interviews will be held this year? I just want to know just so that it will be easier to plan for the upcoming semester. I'm applying to UofT, Western, McGill, and UBC. Thanks everyone in advanced
  5. Hello, successful UofT applicants! First of all, congrats! I’m sure the last few months of waiting weren’t the least stressful of your life but you’ve made it through. I’m presently an OT1 at UofT and also part of the O-Week Team for next September. With any luck, I’ll be an OT2 by the time you all join us in the Fall. I just wanted to open up this forum an opportunity for newly accepted OT students at UofT to get to know each other a little bit ahead of time and maybe answer a few questions (from a student’s perspective) along the way. After you have accepted your offer letter to UofT you should receive more information regarding O-Week and the program in general. A Facebook group will also be made available to you as well. WELCOME!
  6. Starting this forum for anyone with questions... And I guess I'll start it off: Is anyone else having problems logging into mosaic? I've tried for 2 months now and the page just won't load. I've tried on multiple devices and web browsers (FireFox and Safari). Is there a problem with the server?? Thanks
  8. I was just wondering if anyone got their results for mcgill medicine for premed?
  9. Anyone want to share what they got? I got AA:22 RC:19 PAT:21
  10. When are the marks for cdat Feb 2017 coming out? It's been over a month, and I'm just wondering.
  11. Hey folks, For those who've written cDAT today, how was it? I felt that PAT and RCT sections were bit hard, but bio/chem were pretty doable. If it wasn't your first time, how was it compared to the previous DAT version? Cheers
  13. Hello! I plan to take the DAT in February 2017 and apply to uLaval and uMontreal in March 2017 as a undergraduate university student. I don't think I have a good chance at getting in, since my french is not strong enough to fully express myself in an interview. So I am wondering, how long are the DAT scores valid for? Will I still be able to use the Feb 2017 DAT scores when I apply to other universities in 3 years (when i finish my bachelor's degree)? This will help me plan my studying. If the scores will no longer be valid, then I will only study for the sections considered by the french universities. If not, then I'll study for the entire DAT to maximize my score. Also, when the Feb 2017 DAT scores "expire" and I have to take the DAT again, will it show on my file that I took the DAT twice? Thank you!
  14. This forum is for anyone who has applied to the University of Melbourne, Australia DDS program for the 2017 intake!
  15. Hello! I figured I would start this thread for those who know they are heading to Dal in September. It's driving me a bit crazy that we haven't received much information about the coming year. So we can use this space to meet each other, and maybe create a facebook group? Perhaps find roommates, etc. So excited to meet you guys!!!
