I was wondering if anyone had experience with, or knowledge about breaking a ROS contract in BC. How about in other provinces? How doable is it? Is there a way to breech the contract without paying the entire financial penalty (ie: "compassionate" grounds, etc)? Can the location of the ROS and financial amount to breech the contract be negotiated? What happens if you don't find a location to fulfill the ROS? Can you still do a fellowship if it's a specialty ROS? Any success stories? Any nightmare scenarios? Anyone have a reliable referral for a law firm in BC that is experienced in this domain? Thanks everyone!

I am wondering if moving to Calgary for undergrad is worth the albertan in province status in the future. but tbh I would prefer going to ubc much more because I already know a lot of older friends in the program that could give me advice and guide me through the program. Would it still be worth moving? Another thing that I could possibly do is transfer to Calgary after my 2nd year. any thoughts on what I should do would be very helpful. im also not dead set on medicine, I would also consider doing dentistry or physio
