Hi guys, So I will be starting school next year (yay!) and I am trying to figure out what kind of computer I should get... I am pretty torn between the surface pro and the ipad pro, as I really like the idea of being able to write my notes with a pencil on my screen. Does anyone have experience with these products as a medical student? Also, what kind of apps does everyone use at med school? Specifically med related apps - i.e. anatomy, note taking, etc.
I had a lot of positive feedback a while ago when I posted my first app. I just want to let you know that I've finished my second app for the Hole Punching section of the PAT. It generates hole punching question so you can practice on the go. Like the title says, the app is completely FREE to use. You can find it on this here, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dat-hole-punching/id1201489406?ls=1&mt=8 or search "DAT Hole Punching" on the iOS Apps Store. Please let me know any question, comment, or recommendations you might have. I would love to hear them. Good luck andHappy Studying! I hope this post isn't breaking any forum rules.
Good evening everyone, I've created an app to prepare for the Hole Punching section in the PAT. It is currently FREE on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. It can be found here, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dat-hole-punching/id1201489406?ls=1&mt=8 or search “DAT Hole Punching” on iOS App Store. I will continue to add more fold types to broaden the pool of questions. Not to say there’s not already a big pool of questions (the current app can probably generate in the hundreds of thousands of different questions.) But more variety to base the questions off of, especially questions with at least 3 folds, will make it more challenging and better for preparing for the DAT. So, I’ll be updating that. Also, my first app for Angle Ranking can be found here, https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dat-angle/id1114175055?ls=1&mt=8 or search “DAT Angle Ranking” on iOS App Store. It now cost 99 cents to download since I am hoping to at least break even with apple dev fees and other expenses. I hope you guys will understand. Still, I created these app to make accessing test prep material cheaper and easier; so if you can’t pay, feel free to contact me at https://www.facebook.com/EnDent-1076779419115415/ and I’ll be happy to help. Keep in mind, there’s only one of me but I’ll try to respond as soon as I can. P.S. If you find the apps helpful, please support me and leave a good review and like my facebook page. It's so lonely lol . Happy Studying!
Hi everyone! As I am getting ready for application, I am realising that I lack a bit of knowledge about our health care system, the latest technologies, the ethical debates, etc. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good journal/website/app to read about the medical field, and that also has critiques in it (not just the plain info). I've tried Flipboard, but I was surprisingly dissapointed (or maybe am I simply not using it correctly). Thank you for you help! Florence
