  1. I received my bachelor's degree back in April 2018 and after 2 failed med school application cycles in Canada I turned to US MD and DO schools. I realized I am missing many prerequisite courses (i.e. English + some lab courses) and was looking into post-bacc programs that could help me get the missing credits and apply to the US. Are there any post-bacc programs (with labs, so assuming I cannot do online) that you guys would recommend? I've heard of a lot of shady programs so I'm looking for some feedback. I found https://www.medschoolimg.com/premed-postbaccalaureate this program so far which is pretty close to me in Toronto. Has anyone heard of it? Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!!
  2. In my second year, I dropped the second semester and returned for the first semester of third year. So when medical schools say they will calculate your best 2 years or last 2 years, will my second year count as a full year? Or is it on the basis of credits? For example 4 credits = 1 year. Thanks!
  3. Hey! Does anyone know which Ontario (or Canadian) medical schools take into consideration summer thesis credits and which ones do not? For example, for Queen's, my understanding is that it is only counted towards cGPA, not 2YGPA. Is this also the case for other schools? Thanks in advance.
  4. Has anyone gained entrance into Queens without completing their 4th year of undergrad, in other words- gained admission with solely 90 credits ? Further, has anyone out there repetitively applied with solely the 3 years of undergrad and significant, health related workplace experience (and been accepted)?
  5. Attended University elsewhere for a year, transferred to where I am now, and am currently in third year here (different program, different courses). Does anyone know whether my grades from my past University can be used, in combination with an academic year from my current University in applying to UWO Dental school (i.e. top two years from two different programs in two different Universities)? Also, if I have taken more than 5 credits in a year, will UWO only use the top 5 in determining the academic average, or will they consider all courses taken during that period?
Merci beaucoup
  8. Apparently one of my English courses don't count at UBC?! Anyone else having this issue? Does anyone know where I can take a university junior English course online or by correspondence? I have no time this year to take it during school!
  9. Hi there, I was just wondering if US DO schools will accept my CEGEP courses as prereqs? I got transfer credits at my current uni (UofT) for Gen. Chem 1 & 2 and Physics 1& 2 from CEGEP. Thanks!
