  1. Hi Everyone, I am taking the Canadian DAT for the first time and I am unsure how I should prepare. I know that the DATcrusher is a good resource for Canadian test takers, but I am wondering if this would be enough for me to score well. Or should I also be investing my time with Ferralis, Cliff Notes and Chad's video? The mini tips from DATcrusher recommends their students to review bio/chem info more in breadth than in depth but I've also heard that some questions are very specific (for example I briefly remember seeing a post about a student having to answer a question about the developmental biology of a sea urchin?). How should I study for the DAT, for those who have taken it, was it really just trying to memorize as much as you can? And since I'm just starting my studying now, what topics are considered high yield, is there a list of general topics out there that are frequently tested on? If someone could direct me to a list of high yield topics (if that exists), I would really appreciate it as I'm feeling quite overwhelmed and don't really know where to start. Thanks everyone!
  2. alright so im making notes/flashcards for the nicoles notes chapters on crusher. when it comes to taking the tests on the site, should i for ex study ch1 and take the according compilation test for ch 1? (study cell and molecular bio then take the cell and molecular bio test under compilation) how did yall go about studying bio?? thanks
  3. Hi ! For anyone planning on writing the February 2019 DAT, my DATcrusher account is available until March 25, 2019. I am selling it for a discounted price since I am no longer using the account. I wrote the Novemeber 2018 DAT and I highly recommend DATcrusher for Canadian students writing the DAT or need practice. Please message me or reply to this for more details!
  4. Will be writing the american DAT soon and need a spare datbootcamp or datcrusher account. Inbox me please, thanks Edit: Nevermind. I just found that you can't apply to Canadian dental schools using american DAT scores
  5. Hi Guys I am planning to take the cDAT in February and I will be officially starting my review after my finals. I am trying to spend as little amount on the prep materials so I wanted to know what the recommendation for the PAT section and just overall review for the exam would be? I have searched this forum extensively and there isn't any clear response for what people would recommend for the cDAT. I am more interested in how datcrusher holds up in comparison to other companies. I have a solid bio background because of my major, and I will be reviewing chem. Currently I have Feralis and AP Cliff's, IQ publications reading and Bio/chem book, kaplan review notes (1000 page book), and the CDA 2014 manual. I am planning to get Chad's videos ($50) for chem and just need something for the PAT section and some extra practice exams and questions. I saw that the datcrusher is pretty cheap overall, includes everything I would need, and is geared towards the cDAT. Then there's datbootcam and crackthedat who offer more practice questions, a lot of extra stuff that I wouldn't need, higher prices and are not geared towards the cDAT. So it would be really helpful to see what you guys would recommend to get for online practice. Also, since I have the 2014 CDA manual, i wanted to know if I should get a 2017 manual or if they have the same content for the practice exam that's included?
