Parking at MAM

I was wondering if any upper-year students had any insights regarding parking at MAM. We received an email about the campus parking passes that are $685. Is this the best option if planning to drive to school (commuting from downtown)? I've been told that we are often only on campus 3-4 times per week? 

I'm happy to pay this fee if it is the best option but want to make sure it is before i do.

If you are planning to drive to campus frequently then it is the best option. Regular parking is $16/day on weekdays and 6$/day on weekends otherwise. They also ticket regularly if you try to just not pay (that's always an option though).
