My chances of getting in next year?

Recommended Posts

I was able to get the 65% percentile to get invited for an interview at U of C this year. My MMI score placed me in 9th percentile. I didn't expect to have done so bad... do I still have a chance to bring this up and get accepted next year? Any tips for improving my interview skills?

You can definitely get in next year. Work on developing great stories that show case your strength. Before my interviews, I prepared around ~15 stories and I was lucky because I was able to use the stories I prepared in all of my interviews :)

In one of my previous rounds of applying I had similarly very low scores on my interview and have been accepted this year (after A TON more reading about issues, practice structuring MMI responses, and preparing stories to share this time around) - it is absolutely possible!
