OMSAS GPA conversion

Recommended Posts

I'm confused about my GPA conversions? I'm applying OOP and my 2year gpa is 85% but when i convert it using individual grades it ends up saying 3.75 on OMSAS? is this typical or am I doing it wrong? Do I even have a chance at queens or western with that gpa? I have a strong upward trend and decent extracurriculars and am writing the MCAT this summer!!

GPA is calculated by getting a GPA for each course to make up for the year. This conversion table may help https://www.ouac.on.ca/guide/omsas-conversion-table/

Queens maybe, lower end, and it depends on the cut off which changes every year. Western need two years 3.7. And their MCAT cut offs have historically been high so ensure its high. Who knows what they’ll do wih the ABS stuff.
