Does Ottawa U ONLY assess the years of UG you carried a full course load in??

Yes, with at least 4 courses each semester for that academic year with any remaining courses made up.

A full-time academic year where the equivalent of four (4) courses per semester is taken is accepted and counted in the WGPA calculation only if the missing course/credit is completed either as an additional course within another academic year or as a summer course. https://med.uottawa.ca/undergraduate/admissions/application-process/eligibility-requirements

Also, do the pre reqs, if done in the summer, count towards GPA? Or any summer courses for that matter?

No, they just count for credit.

Individual courses taken during a summer session are accepted for the credit value in this instance however the mark obtained is not counted in the calculation of the WGPA. https://med.uottawa.ca/undergraduate/admissions/application-process/eligibility-requirements

From what I understand, whenever you take a pre-req (summer or academic year) it must have a grade of at least B now. But since it was taken in the summer, it will not contribute to your WGPA calculation.
