Where to Place Continuing Education through Employment

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on where to put continuing education opportunities that I had while employed. For example, I participated in the Harvard Leadership Tune-Up while I was employed as a Co-Manager at Walmart, but I'm not sure if I should put that experience under Non-Academic Activities or Employment. My thoughts are that I was able to attend because I was employed where I was, but it was outside of my normal roles and responsibilities. Any ideas?

If you were not paid during that Leadership Tune-Up, then it would not be considered employment. You could list it in NAQ, but I would mention it in the description of your co-manager position.

Thanks, Eudaimonia! Just heard back from the UBC admissions office and they said that I could list it in the NAQ section as well.
