What is the Duration of an Award? HELP

Recommended Posts

Is duration the period of time where you did something that made you get the award, or is it the specific date you received the award, or is it the period of time the award was given over?

And do you guys typically put the value of the award in the description?

Sorry, this is my first time using OMSAS and Im clueless. Thanks in advance!

I wrote "awarded once" or "awarded annually" if it was a one-time or yearly thing. If it's something like a research stipend, you can put the duration of the research project (i.e. "4 months" if it was over a summer). I'm curious to see whether anyone approached this differently.

I actually had 'n/a' listed for duration, but 'awarded once' is better. I think you made a good decision!
