Hey!

I’m currently a second semester science student at Marianopolis who is unsure of what to do to get into Med-p.

I knew that I love science but I didn’t know if a career in med or engineering would fit me so I decided to go for pure and applied because I can take organic chem and bio 2. I took bio 1 and honesty that was the best class ever and now I’m really interested in med.

I have an r score in the high 35 so idk if that’s good enough since last year the average was 37!

Definitely follow your interests! In other words, do the engineering program.

You need to understand, no matter what you believe, this is not an “urgent” problem.

Grow, mature, develop, find your interests. There is no rush.

I went into Med after my undergrad. I was a different person compared to the person I was when I graduated from Cégep. I was no longer shy, I was self-confident, was a reflective, independent self-learner, I was far more mature - and all of this helped prepare me for medicine. I makes no difference over a lifetime whether you shall have practiced medicine for 40 years or 43 years.

Step at a time. Relax. :P
