Ranking Without Interview

That isn’t true. Other candidates may have ranked it highly but matched to choices they ranked even higher.

There is no downside to doing this. Even if it increases your chances by a fraction of a percent, it’s still worth it.

still says something if the program is not high on ANYONES list...

you have to apply to be able to rank it. Only the programs you applied to show up as options on your rank order list page.
