Anyone on here that have completed a GPR in Canada?

I'm eager to hear about your experiences.

I.e what the program was focused on, what type of things you did.
i know most are focused on treating medically complex patients

but did any of the programs have a focus on endo? implants? oral surg?

Dental genral practice residency. Usually just a year after Uni to refine skills/speed and have more clinical exposure. Common in the US, not to sure about Canada

Is there a benefit to doing one?

I guess it would depend on the person.

Maybe you're skills aren’t up to speed with what’s expected in the work force so you need to refine them through a GPR

If you’re interested in specializing and want to get more exposure to clinically complex situations it also would make sense.
