Somebody already posted in the old thread, but I thought it might be easier to start a new one. They posted that they would be declining their offer, so that means one wait list spot opens up!

My status: Wait list :(

First time applicant, but felt like I had a good interview

Time Stamp: 8:33

Status: Waitlisted

GPA: 3.4 (had a letter of extenuating circumstance though as my Mom passed away during first year of university, which was a completely different degree. Unfortunately brought my nursing degree GPA of 3.8 to a 3.4)

EC's: Volunteer work with a local doctor, Heart & Stroke Foundation, with a stroke patient, Victim Services, Food bank. Have done research relevant to my current job as a public health nurse (vaccine hesitancy with HPV vaccine).

Interview: I felt great when I walked out, but I had spent 2 months preparing and practicing.

Currently a Public Health Nurse (BScN, RN) in Vaccines; have been here for 2.5 years and have worked as a nurse in a long-term care facility.

Let's hope we get through this wait list and get acceptances :)
