More invites for Med-P students than Uni-level applicants?

The number applicants to the MedP program this year has decreased by ~100 from last year yet the number of invites increased to over 300 meanwhile the invites for uni-level applicants decreased by a few spots. 

Do you guys think this is a new trend or is the increase in interviews due to the Gatineau campus to MedP’s of this year?

It's probably the latter. This upcoming cycle will probably see a greater number of invites for QC uni applicants due to the Gatineau campus as well. They state on the website that the number of applicants they interview  (regardless of number who actually apply) is proportional to seats available - more seats available next year = more interviews.
