Late elective application

Hello all,

i am currently planning for electives and I got my lowest choice option on my application at one school. In light of this, I was considering submitting a late elective application to western (the 1000$ option, crazy I know). I would like to know if anyone had experience with this (I emailed them to ask a few days ago but the haven’t answered me yet). In particular, I would like to know if I apply and there is no space, will they refund the 1000$, partially refund it or keep it?

also, are there other schools that accept late applications (later than the 16 week minimum window before the elective start date)?

I applied for electives at Dalhousie and Toronto fairly late (can't remember how many weeks from the top of my head). I ended up getting both and I think Toronto refunds you if they can't find you an elective. No extra fees.
