is it true that they take your lowest gpa year off if you complete a 4 year degree?

i heard that when you apply to dental schools, if u completed a four year degree they will take the lowest gpa year off of your cumulative gpa. Do you know which dental schools do this? I think UWO does this but not sure if this applies to all canadian dental schools. Also, is it true the worst year cannot be the final year?

Of the Ontario schools, UWO takes your best 2 years out of 4 and UofT drops your lowest year as long as the lowest year wasn't the last year.

I heard Alberta and UBC does this too

uofa takes off lowest year if you've completed 3+ and takes your 2 best if 4+

 For UofT, if I was graduating this academic year (currently in 4th year), would they drop my worst year or would I need to have already finished all 4 years upon application deadline?

they'll drop your lowest year as long as it wasn't your most recently completed year (i.e. 3rd year)
