NLengr
If they get an independent residency, IR better start admitting their own patients. Hahaha

rmorelan
1 hour ago, yonas said: The US established an independent Interventional Radiology residency a few years ago. In the US, you are able to go directly into Interventional Radiology rather than completing a Diagnostic Radiology residency and applying for an IR fellowship after that. Do you think Canada is close to getting an independent IR residency? I hear there is talk but I don't yet say any motion in that direction. If they do it would still take time to launch even after announced. It is a bit of an issue as the old US Fellowships in IR are vanishing - reduces the training opportunities. yonas

Edict
From what I know vascular does most of the PAD work, but i'm sure it is center dependent.
