RN to MD Application

Recommended Posts

HI!

In the early stages of wanted to apply to UofC Med School. I have a Bachelor of Nursing from Mount Royal University in Calgary. I fast-tracked in that program and every semester contains clinical courses that are credit but pass/ don't have a letter grade applied. So I have a minimum of 24 credits/year but only if it includes the pass/fail courses and if it doesn't then none of my post-secondary years count as full time. Do I need to go take 2 years of random university courses to be considered for application, or will these clinical courses be considered?

Thanks!

You need a minimum of 18 graded credits and a minimum of 24 total credits for the year to count. So, for example, if in each term you had 3 graded and 1 P/F then you are good.
