hobbes4
Hey everyone! I'm a new medical student and I've been having some difficulty finding an effective study technique... At the moment, I try to do flashcards (anki) but in my medical school we have tests each week so anki isn't a good choice because if I get right a card it will only show it to me in like 5 days hahaha. Also, do you have any tips on how take notes in class in order to retain more information? Thank you very much
bearded frog
You can customize Anki times, but overall think back to how you studied for exams in undergrad and MCAT. What is the most effective way you retain things? There are lots of different study methods out there and hopefully by now you will have a general idea of what works and what doesn't. The job now is prioritizing... as the saying goes, you're drinking from the fire hose, and hopefully you have started to figure out what to prioritize for exams. hobbes4
