CaRMS IMG question

Hi all!

I just had a quick question for those (IMGs) applying to CaRMs this year. I was wondering to apply in Ontario - would we need our transcripts/diplomas verified through physiciansappy.ca prior to being eligible for that? If so, how long does that take!

From my experience, your transcript/diploma does not need to be verified by the MCC to apply for CaRMS, unless your medical studies were conducted in a language other than English. If you match into a program, then you need your transcript + diploma certified by the MCC in order to receive your licence. Source verification can take up to six week maximum , depending on the type of document and the language of the document.
