MCAT Kaplan Course. Yay or Nay?

Hey all! I have a few questions. First, has anyone taken the Kaplan Live Online course? The only reason I want to take it is to keep my self on a schedule (not the most self disciplined person), but mainly because I don't know exactly how to study. I realized rewriting chapters doesn't work for me & making flashcards is time consuming for 7 books and I don't think it's been effective for me. On the other hand, it's very expensive & it seems like a lot of content I wouldn't need to get a good score. I see a lot of people saying taking multiple full length exams is really the key, but I need help in how I should go through each book effectively. Would the course be good or is the cost not worth it?

Second, has anyone utilized mcatselfprep.com? If so, how is it?

Just do you man, don't listen to the rumours. Doing a MSc or MPH is a big time and financial investment, don't pursue it if you're not truly interested. People have different reasons for pursuing medicine, at any stage of their career, whether before or after doing a Master's/PhD etc.
