Interview Invites/Regrets (2019-2020)

Recommended Posts

TIME STAMP: 7:57PM ET (Monday 9th Dec 2019)
Interview Invite or Regrets: Regrets, No Interview
Early or Regular Deadline: Regular
GPA or AGPA (if applicable): 89.16
MCAT (CPBS / CARS / BBFL / PSBB): 517 (129/127/131/130)
Current Degree (UG/Bachelors/Masters/PhD): UG
Geography (IP/OOP):  OOP

NAQ Range: 0th-25th percentile
TFR: 45 (Can someone help me get my AQ and NAQ off of this??)
My Result Honestly not very surprised!! Was expecting it based on the calibre of applicants I've seen on here. I feel like *maybe* I could've gotten the second quartile if I worded my experiences a little bit better just based on some of the responses I've seen here. I had all the relevant experiences but they were not long-term at all (1-2 yrs max) and I have limited research experience...

AQ formula (from 2017/2018) is AQ = 1.6246 * AGPA - 115.57 so your AQ is 29.3 and NAQ is 15.7

The way you write your descriptions make a huge difference. I had a 39 TFR last year and 75th-100th percentile this year but I know my activities are similar to anyone else applying.

Sounds like a substantial improvement. Would you mind sharing what did you change in the descriptions/where did the focus shift? thanks
