Do we need macbooks for premed or the four years in med school?

I hate the mac interface, the operating system is friendly but not effective. These days they are over priced, to me they are not doing anything great for the planet nor human society, especially the ones paid 1 dollar a 24 hour shift, for California designers and non innovative engineers. 

 

If there is need of one, do med students have a discount. Does the univeristy have contracts, a provider...

 

What are the experiences for the windows users...

You can have any laptop (not too old though), they just say that mac has a better compatibility with examsoft (the software used for exams from 1st to 4th year) in the premed year you can have what you want since all exams are on paper (so far)
