I have the red button but it doesn't say reset responses - i only interviewed at one school @ontariopremed, did you interview at more than 1 school

Sigh... I haven't checked OMSAS in over a month. Now I have to see this.

 

And I have no Reset button.

I interviewed at one school too and don't see it either.

I see "Reset Responses" too and I interviewed at more than one school.

Does everyone have the red box (minus the reset button lol) ? Also, i feel like we figured out why certain people have the reset button

yeah the red has been there since the beginning. :/

Here is a thought though – Do the schools communicate interview invites/regrets to OMSAS? Like I am not sure that OMSAS would know the candidates that are in the running at more than one school unless they have been told that they have an offer/waitlist.

It could be more than 1 offer, would be interesting to see how this all pans out

The logic would check out if there is someone here with more than 1 OMSAS interview, but does not have the "Reset Responses" button.

Only acceptances are coordinated as I understand.

Don't stress, it wasn't added for me yesterday when I checked. It could be a case where they haven't added it for you yet.

I only had one interview to McMaster and currently have the "Reset Responses" Button.

Starting to think this might just be for offers. MD/PhD offers are already out, so anyone who was accepted should have the button below if it goes by that logic...

okay so it obviously doesn't correspond to multiple offers then...

honestly guys maybe it's just random? i remember before interview invites came out, and current mac students checked the mcmaster portal, and some saw a green circle beside their application and others saw nothing. it turned out that there was no correlation between whether you saw the green circle and whether or not you got an interview invite, but we were all freaking out at the time haha

Ya I agree^, I also don't think it's worth stressing about because who knows if all schools have communicated with omsas, there also could be a lag in people's system (aka why some have it), etc.

honestly the only people who will know with any certainty what this could mean are the ones accepted last cycle. If the button really correlates with offers, they would have seen it last year. So can anyone ask their friends who got in from last year?
