If we get accepted... what's our next steps?

Sorry if I'm getting too ahead of myself, but I was wondering what our next steps would be if we get accepted? I'm guessing finding a residence wouldn't happen until closer to the start of the school year (and even that will likely be pushed forward due to COVID). We don't choose courses 1st year do we? Ugh, I don't know anything.

Anything you need to know will be in the offer email if you get one. Only thing you can do at this point is wait.

U of T does a great job of detailing exactly what you need to do, with regards to setting up email, paying tuition, etc. They will email you consistently over the summer explaining how to do those things

UofT 2nd yr med student here- no course selection at all in 1st/2nd yr  U of T does an amazing job of keeping applicants informed and the faculty has said they will be including a paragraph about covid-19 procedures and what they expect may change for the entering class. You'll also receive a phone call from a current U of T med student on Tuesday or Wednesday where you can talk to them about their experience and ask questions!

For me last year I think it was  was binge watching movies and couldn’t sleep, checked at 3AM and had an offer listed for u of t. You will find out soon enough if our year was a glitch or not

Does anyone know if accepting an offer to a graduate program starting in September 2020 (as a back up) whos deadline to accept is before may 12th will remove my application from consideration at uofT med school

Sorry just a little confused! Are people expecting acceptances today (may 11) or tommorow (may 12)?

A sizable group (based on some plausible evidence) believe the OMSAS portal will update at midnight tonight. So technically tomorrow, but most people are going to stay awake for it, making it part of today for practical purposes.

I don't have anything on OMSAS for UofT. Button also showed up, but looks like it will be showing up for everyone. Sigh.

Just checked- same. I have the button, but im not looking into that much. Some ppl without it got in at Mac, some with it got in. Dont see it being predictive. Seems that UofT isn't out
