OMG this is amazing!!! :D THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'm definitely going to try to get a hold of some of these.

I haven't read much for pleasure recently lol, but the Harry Potter series is always good?

Crocheting is not too hard! And embroidering is pretty easy too. I'm sure you can learn it fairly quickly. There are a bunch of great YouTube tutorials out there!

Body Keeps the Score - author Bessel van der Kolk

Also, love Philip K. Dick - thanks for reminding me. Happy to shove science books and papers to the side this summer and look at some electric sheep instead

Hey @rmorelan do you have any prediction about the waitlist normal movement this year? considering the unique situation we are in with COVID and Mac? Would love to hear your views.

gosh so hard! So far things don't look super different from other years on the analysis front. Mac is a bit of wild card, but overall we are similar. I expect the high wait list to clear pretty quickly, and then get start on the normal list!

hang in there - this is a hard time obviously! No matter what happens getting an interview means you are really on the right track.

Read this 3 years ago and I have to say, nothing in this book gave any hint as to who he'd become today LMAOOO

I found the part about his childhood and the description of his work ethic really interesting. Other than that, it was ok. I find him really interesting. He has such an offbeat personality in the interviews I've watched haha. :)

I've already got a hold of your guys recommendations! Looking forward to giving them a read. :D

i thought the general understanding was that they normally don't get back until all the acceptances and rejections are processed (a couple days after may 26th)?

Usually the case as then they know exactly how many spots are left at each site, and can begin to fill things appropriately.

thank you!! :) for western i believe they won’t send offers until after the 26th but queen’s might send them on the 26th!

to get western i’d have to let go of my mac offer and i don’t know if i should do that yet :/

yeah that is stressful! If you do it is a pure leap of faith (but know that both schools are excellent).

In general the delay in Western is of benefit - if you are on the Western waitlist you want all the other waitlists to move as soon as possible as it may free up a spot for you.

i'd prefer london but i wouldn't mind windsor!!

Someone in the Mac or Ottawa thread said they were turning down the Ottawa offer to wait on the Mac waitlist, your situations are pretty similar (he doesn't want to go to Ottawa for some reason, I get why you wouldnt want to go to Mac)
