Doing a second residency

Hi all,

I have been a practicing doc for a while now, and am strongly thinking about starting a second residency. I don’t know of anyone who has done anything like this. Just wondering if anyone on this forum have any knowledge about this process? This forum helped me a lot back when I was applying to medicine more than a decade ago, and just thought I’d give it a shot!

There is a re-entry program funded by the Ministry of Health in Ontario. Not familiar with the process in the other provinces.

From which residency to which residency, why?

Really interested in learning more. I'm a 4th year med student making carms decisions now
