Canadian123
I know COVID is impacting a lot of pre-meds study abilities (not being able to go to a quiet place, etc.). Is the MCAT curved so that if everyone doesn’t do well that it accounts for that? Or are all scores independent?
AB27
I know scores are not dependent on those who take the test with you, I think the test is composed of questions previously tested to give the appropriate amount of people falling in the percentiles. TheFlyGuy
I think it's a 5(?) year sample of test takers that is used to calculate the scores, so I think it's unlikely to make any meaningful difference to the overall curve, particularly as I'm sure some students will now have more time to study in quarantine/do better, which would work in the other direction cancelling out any minor effect that might work in your favour. So it really just comes down to how the pandemic affects you and your ability to study personally.
