Applying as a 1st Year Dental Student

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of applying to med again this year despite starting dental school in the fall. Do I have to put my dental school enrolment in my academic background? Would there be any repercussions if I don't? Is it even possible to apply to med without having completed the professional degree?

Also, if anyone is in a similar situation and is choosing to report their enrolment in dental school, how are you filling out the information in the "Institutions" tab? Would professional school count as "Post-secondary - undergraduate"? What are you putting as the degree type?

Thanks!

Let’s say you apply before classes start. I don’t see enrollment as part of your academic background. I can ot see any repercussions and no doubt, others will chime in.

Realistically I don’t think I can get the whole application done before next Tuesday (though that’s the plan) but I’m quite unsure since the school I want to apply to acknowledges that they might have applicants coming from other professional schools.

Thanks for your reply!
