r score, how far i can go?

hello! 

I'm really interested in going to med school, however my grades aren't the best and my r score isn't high either. I know for sure i won't be accepted from the first try, and i'm considering applying to either biomed or biochemistry so i can try and apply again later on. my r score is 28,5 rn, and i noticed i needed a minimum of 30 to go into biomed ( for biochemistry i think it's 25) , can i make it ? I dont know if it's realistic of me to have hopes, since i have only 2 semesters left until the end of cegep.  I feel it's really hard to change the score even though i dont really know a thing about how it can be CHANGED. i want to go as far as possible.
