you don't have enough space to describe how the activity impacted you. I literally just wrote down what I did for that specific activity.

Thats what I've been doing the last few years :( I do add a few words at the end like "I learned blank and blank by doing this" so maybe I shouldn't do that and I should just focus on clearly articulating what I literally did?

I mean I am sure that are people who did this your way and got in as well so my way is by no means the only good one.

I would say the actual roles you've held are far more important than these minute details as to how you describe them.

What are your leadership roles?

6/17 is not a bad EC score. EC's scores are extremely subjective to who is reading your file every year. Trying to fine tune those descriptions is futile.

There are IP that get interviews every year with a 4/17 or 5/17 EC score. The issue is likely with your combo of GPA/MCAT/Casper not being high enough.

I don't think there's a best way to write your activities. Some people were more direct, some were not. I personally had a mix of pure description and some reflective moments and that seemed to work well for me! Best of luck

Do you really think fine tunnig EC descriptions doesn't have much merit? I have been trying to do just that and the sentiment I have got from this forum is that wording matters
