Guest stevetilley
Thanks for posting your stats etc... this gives future applicants an idea of what type of marks, MCAT, etc.. are needed to get in. (although those numbers are only one part of the application) Could I remind everyone to please post your province/country of residency as well? This is important because MUN has 5 separate applicant pools (Newfoundland, NB, PEI, Other Provinces, and International). Thanks!! Oh, and congrats to everyone who got in!! See ya in August!! And to those who didn't get in this time... don't give up! Keep trying... some of the brightest people in med school had to apply multiple times!! Guest Ronin
Rejected (with interview) again this year. Ouch. BScH in psychology, Newfoundland applicant. 1st and 2nd year GPAs - 3.3something 3rd and 4th year GPAs - 3.7something MCAT, 11 verbal, 9 bio, 8 phys, P written Tons of extracurriculars. Student paper, politics, nursing home, ER, research, etc etc. Definitely the interview that sank me again this year (though I've yet to talk to the admissions people). I was getting over the stomach flu, and they may have thought I was drunk. Maybe I shouldn't have thrown a punch at the interviewer. Time to do it alllllllll over again.
