penguin92
cGPA: 3.64VR: 7 Any point in even writing Casper? Chances are you won't get an interview but if you don't mind spending the money, you could apply and just see what happens. Youlll get some experience with CASper and a higher verbal would give you a better shot next time around

thestar10
IPGPA: 3.73 MCAT: VR-8 EC: pretty decent amount/types Very low shot. Your VR is just not very competitive.
Sarvish
IPGPA: 3.73 MCAT: VR-8 EC: pretty decent amount/types That 8 in VR is going to be a problem. 4 people got in with a VR of 6-8 and it's safe to assume that a few of those were likely masters/PhD. If you have time, rewriting is probably a good idea to bring that VR up to at least a 9/

thestar10
3.95 omsas GPA11 VR ontario resident 3rd year applicant You are competitive. Casper will be the deciding factor and an "average" mark may be enough to score an interview.

Hockeynut
Decent Shot. An average Casper might clinch you an interview. I love how all of your responses are so wide open, like an average CASper might clinch a spot. Sorry i know why you phrase it as you do it just makes me laugh. cogniva
14 VR and 3.75 cGPA. How much of a disadvantage is it that I'm OOP?
thestar10
14 VR and 3.75 cGPA. How much of a disadvantage is it that I'm OOP? only 10% of interview spots are given to OOPs. Your Verbal will most likely make up for your GPA. If I had to guess I would say that your GPa is probably below the OOP average but your verbal brings you back up to be a competitive OOP applicant. hopeful_med
Hello, I am 4th year OOP (GPA 3.91, MCAT 14/13/14 PS/VR/BS) and wondering what the definition of 90% reserved for interview is. Do they reserve 90% seat for IP, or only the interview reserved for IP, and once interviews are sent IP and OOP applicants are mixed and they can accept as many OOP as they want (from population interviewed)

Do they reserve 90% seat for IP, or only the interview reserved for IP, and once interviews are sent IP and OOP applicants are mixed and they can accept as many OOP as they want (from population interviewed) From what the website says, it seems like the distinction is only during the interview phase. However, from the class of 2012 onwards (no stats before that), the class has never exceeded 10% OOP
