What is a Medical hotel?

It was a hotel that kept its rates very low so that people travelling for medical reasons could afford to stay (and only ppl with medical reasons were allowed to stay) - so family members could stay there as well as patients who were well enough to be on their own but needed to go to hospital every day for tests/treatments (some cancer patients for ex) or just patients staying for a night or two to see a doctor in the city...

People, people - again this thread should be kept clear except for raw data - you want to discuss something we have the rest of the forum for that :)

I did remove some threads as a result - there were NO official rejections in that list of course and as far as I know there were none issued yesterday.

Biggest thing for future and current applicants: it's really not about the numbers. I'm not being hypocritical, I got rejected from Dal pre-interview because I was too complacent about the essay. Then I poured my heart into all the others and its worked out :). It's really about working hard, and writing essays that show off your best qualities!!

Oh come on, it IS about the numbers, just not all about the numbers (essays and EC count too). :P

Ok, ok, it IS a little about numbers :). But you DO see low GPA's get in and high GPA's get rejected. It's a balance

Yeah but definitely proportionally more rejections with applications that have lower numbers.

There is a correlation (that is not absolute of course but still strong) between high academic achievement and high non-academics in premeds because conscientiousness is typically universal.
