Accessing Literature Off-Campus

Recommended Posts

Your school should have a library page where you can login and access the same articles.

for example: For York, I go to library.yorku.ca, login using my student information and then search the library database for the bibliometric search engine i'd like to use.

exactly - I have been to TO, Western, Ottawa, Guelph and Waterloo and they all have ways of doing that :)

Im running a systematic review and need to search 10 different databases seperately..

Shouldn't be a problem. Log in to your school's library database, and then use whatever search engine you'd like. When you get to an article that you'd like to open, there should be an option: Find at <School Name>

Click on that option, and the article will open, just as it would if you were on campus. If somehow it is not working, you can always go to campus and download everything and then read it at home.
